Nicole Kidman gave birth Monday to a baby girl named Sunday Rose on Monday morning.

“Nicole and Keith Urban are delighted to announce that Nicole Kidman gave birth to a baby girl on Monday morning, July 7, 2008 in the United States,” said her agent, Allen Eichhorn.

“Sunday Rose Kidman Urban weighed six pounds, seven and a half ounces (2.9 kilograms). Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side and mother and baby are very well.” “We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers,” Urban, 40, said in a statement on his website announcing the birth of “our beautiful baby girl.” “We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today.”

Kidman has two adopted children, Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13, with Tom Cruise.
