We received an email from Seva Lara regarding her granddaughter’s name: Calisandra. Calisandra – origin Greek – Cali (most beautiful) and Sandra (helper and defender of mankind). Cali is the diminutive of Calista, the mythological arcadian who was transformed by Zeus into a bear and thrown into Heaven to become the Great Bear Constellation and Sandra is the female diminutive of Alexander of the Great.
