Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber welcomed their second boy on Saturday, Dec. 13. The happily unmarried couple have been together since 2005. Their first son, Alexander Pete, was born July 25, 2007, in Los Angeles.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and husband Pete Wentz have become parents for the first time after welcoming a baby boy. Simpson gave birth to son Bronx Mowgli Wentz on Thursday night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The baby weighed 7 pounds and 11 ounces.
Their representative said in a statement: “Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!”

Actor Adam Sandler and wife Jackie welcomed Sunny Madeline into the world earlier this month (Nov,8).
“Jackie and Adam had a beautiful baby girl, Sunny Madeline on November 2,” a message posted on Sandler’s Web site told. “Everyone is happy and healthy.”
The couple, who wed in 2003, already have a daughter, two-year-old Sadie.

In Florida, Sanjae Obama Fisher was born at 8 p.m. EST at Hollywood’s Memorial Regional Hospital to Patrick and Sasha Hall Fisher.
In Arkansas, Benjamin Barack Kimbrough was born at 2:35 p.m. CDT on Election Day to Walter and Adria Kimbrough. Walter Kimbrough is president of Philander Smith College, a historically black school in Little Rock.
In Maryland, a mother who went into labor Tuesday after voting for Obama named her newborn daughter for the Obamas’ two girls, 7-year-old Sasha and Malia, 10. Lakisha Brown of Joppa gave birth to Sasha Malia Ann Taylor at 12:36 a.m. Wednesday at Greater Baltimore Medical Center(GBMC).

On Nov. 3, Zoo Atlanta will open voting for a name for its newest panda. Fans can submit a name by visiting zooatlanta.com. Balloting will continue through Dec. 3. The male cub will be 100 days old on Dec. 8 and, in accordance with Chinese tradition, will finally get a name.
The cub’s name will be selected from a final list of 12 suggestions: One from the zoo’s board of directors, two from zoo staff, one from zoo members and one from suggestions on the zoo’s myspace.com page. Five names will come from media, and the other two will be suggested by fans in China’s Chengdu City, home of the research facility that owns the pandas.

The New York City Department of Health announced their annual list of most popular baby names on Wednesday.
Move over Ashley and Michael – Isabella, Sophia and Daniel are now the names of choice for New York City parents. Ashley and Emily had been the NYC’s top girl names for more than a decade, and Michael had reigned uncontested since 1956, when he surpassed Robert as the boy of choice.
Ashley dropped to third place in 2007 as Isabella and Sophia tied for the top slot and Emily held the second. Michael also fell to third place, trailing both Daniel and Jayden.

Gillian Anderson and her partner Mark Griffiths have named their newborn baby son, Felix. Anderson gave birth to Felix on 15 October in London. She and Griffiths also have a son called Oscar. Oscar and Felix were the names of the characters in Neil Simon’s play ‘The Odd Couple’.
